Agriturismo Tenuta Sant'Agnese
The Fanetti family Sant’Agnese Estate is set in the heart of the area where the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano wine is produced. There are three farmhouses available to guests: San Giuseppe, Sant’Adele and Il Molino, each situated around the manor house, 2 km FROM the medieval town of Montepulciano, immersed among the vineyards and green hills of the Tuscan countryside. The buildings are traditional Tuscan farmhouses, originally the homes of farm workers, recently restored and furnished and equipped with all modern comforts. Guests can spend languid days walking or cycling through the grounds of the Estate, and participating in guided tours of the Cellars to taste the wonderful wines.
PODERE SAN GIUSEPPE The San Giuseppe farmhouse has been divided INTO five completely restored and independent apartments, each taking its name FROM a different grape variety. To make guests stays all the more memorable each apartment has been finely finished: double bedrooms with romantic wrought-iron bedsteads and nineteenth century furniture, large bathrooms and traditional Tuscan kitchens. The farmhouse is surrounded by a delightful garden, equipped for barbecues, with a beautiful pool. Guests can spend languid days walking or cycling through the grounds of the Estate, and participating in guided tours of the Cellars to taste the wonderful wines.
PODERE SANT'ADELE The Sant’Adele farmhouse is ideal for guests wanting to immerse themselves entirely in the fragrances and colours of the Tuscan countryside. This brick house with its simple façade covered in creepers has a garden full of roses and lavender flowerbeds, and a delightful view onto the woods. The Sant’Adele farmhouse has a large pool in the shade of the olive trees, offering a wonderful opportunity to relax. It is made up of two apartments furnished with traditional Tuscan “arte povera” furniture.
PODERE IL MOLINO Il Molino is a delightful independent apartment situated within the Sant’Agnese Estate Manor House park. With its terracotta flooring, Il Molino is warm and welcoming. The apartment has recently been restored and elegantly furnished. FROM the garden, guests enter a living room/dining room and adjacent kitchenette equipped with a traditional wood-burning oven. Remaining on the ground floor, there is a bathroom with shower, and a characteristic wrought-iron spiral staircase leading to the two bedrooms, one double and one single. On the first floor there is also a second bathroom with shower. Guests at Il Molino can dine in the quiet private garden with its view over the Tuscan countryside.
