Agriturismo Il Sasso

The farm Il Sasso is located just outside of Montepulciano, surrounded by 13 acres of land cultivated with olive groves and vineyards. Il Sasso is an ancient stone farmhouse built in the Tuscan tradition. It has beatifully restored and converted INTO four lovely units, all modernized to enhance its beauty and utility and named after the most common varieties of olive trees: Moraiolo, Leccino, Pendolino, and Frantoio. The inside of the house is a beautiful as the outside, filled with Tuscan antiques and comfortable furniture, terracotta flooring and wooden beams.The grounds are spectacular and extensive and include a beautiful swimming pool (mt. 12x6, open FROM May to September) to be shared with the guests of the other units with fabulous views, large expanses of lawn and mature trees, and numerous terraces for sitting or dining al "fresco".The Maccari family, the actual owners, have been living this area for more than 100 years and they work their land, producing an excellent Tuscan extra virgin olive oil and red wine which are also for sale.

All the units are equipped with satellite TV, fridge, oven, central heating.
